On November 13, a delegation led by Rantso Tsepiso Augustinus, Acting Vice-Chancellor of the National University of Lesotho, visited our university. Xu Jianbo, the Party Secretary, met with them and held a discussion, during which both sides had in-depth exchanges on areas such as scientific research cooperation, personnel exchanges, and the construction of the Confucius Institute.
Xu Jianbo welcomed their visit and introduced SDAU's open education initiatives, including international talent cultivation and the construction of international scientific research platforms. He mentioned that the delegation from our university had achieved fruitful results during its visit to the National University of Lesotho on November 6, laying a solid foundation for this cooperation. This visit represented a deepening and continuation of their collaboration, and he looked forward to practical cooperation and the implementation of multi-field projects.
Rantso Tsepiso Augustinus expressed gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the National University of Lesotho's history, talent cultivation, and disciplinary construction. He anticipated selecting outstanding students to pursue master's and doctoral degrees at our university through exchange and study programs. He also sincerely invited our faculty and students to visit the National University of Lesotho to further deepen academic cooperation and enhance educational and cultural exchanges.
