Recently, a delegation led by Camila Girardi Fachin, Vice President of the Federal University of Paraná in Brazil, visited our university. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on areas such as scientific research cooperation, personnel exchanges, and international Chinese language education. Vice President Lin Hai of SDAU participated in the symposium.
Lin Hai extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the progress of our university in disciplines construction, scientific research platform development, and international cooperation. He noted that the high-level exchanges between Paraná State in Brazil and SDAU in the first half of this year laid a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation, and this meeting was a deepening and continuation of previous exchanges. He expressed the hope to further focus on practical cooperation with the Federal University of Paraná and jointly promote the implementation of multi-field collaborations.
Camila Girardi Fachin thanked SDAU for its warm reception and introduced relevant information about the Federal University of Paraná. She said she looked forward to deepening academic cooperation and enhancing educational and cultural exchanges between the two countries through exchange and study programs, sincerely inviting students from our university to experience the academic atmosphere and teaching resources of the Federal University of Paraná.
During the visit, the delegation also toured the State Key Laboratory of Wheat Breeding, Cryo-Electron Microscopy Center, Innovation Park and crop planting area on the Panhe Campus, as well as the College of Animal Science and Technology.
