On April 10th, Shandong Agricultural University held the “High Art on Campus” & China-Serbia Art Exchange Program, with representatives from both China and Serbia, including Zhang Ran, the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, and Marina Madjarev, the vice-dean of the Academy of Arts at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia, in attendance.

Zhang Ran introduced the university's achievements in international education, emphasizing its strategic goal of openness, win-win cooperation, and all-round collaboration in promoting international exchanges and cooperation in various aspects such as talent cultivation and scientific research. She pointed out that Serbia is China's first comprehensive strategic partner in Central and Eastern Europe. Last year, the university signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Novi Sad, effectively facilitating multi-field collaboration between the two institutions. This art exchange event serves as a catalyst for the friendship between the two universities and a dialogue between Chinese and Serbian civilizations. Zhang hopes that the two universities will use this event as a starting point to jointly build a bridge of cultural mutual learning, cultivate fruits of innovation and integration, and paint a scroll of everlasting friendship.

Marina Madjarev introduced the faculty's situation and shared her feelings about coming to China, expressing her hope that the event will strengthen cooperation between the art faculties of the two universities. During the event, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement, and two professors from Serbia were appointed as visiting professors at Shandong Agricultural University and donated their works. Participants also visited a photography exhibition by Professor Pavel Surovy, and the two visiting professors delivered reports on relevant topics.
