On February 26th, Vitaly Velikanau, the Dean of Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, and Shan Baolong, the Chairman and CEO of Shandong Baolai-Leelai Bio-Industrial Co., Ltd., led delegations to visit SDAU and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for tripartite cooperation. President Leng Changjian attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, introducing the university's achievements in discipline construction, scientific research, and other areas, while emphasizing the significance of this cooperation in promoting the integrated development of industry, academia, research, and application, as well as in responding to the Belt and Road initiative. Shan Baolong highly praised the achievements of all cooperating parties, stating that the signing of the MOU marked an opportunity for win-win cooperation among the three parties, which would strengthen collaboration in agricultural technology, talent cultivation, and other fields to jointly promote sustainable agricultural development. Velikanau expressed gratitude for the hospitality and introduced the situation of Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, expressing his hope that all parties would engage in practical cooperation based on the contents of the MOU. Vice President Wang Yong presided over the ceremony, stating that the signing of the MOU laid a solid foundation for higher-level cooperation among the three parties.

    Additionally, the three parties jointly established the China - Belarus Center for Agricultural Microbial Technology and Artificial Intelligence, marking a new mode of tripartite cooperation for the university. During the event, a project cooperation seminar was also held, and the delegation visited the National Key Laboratory of Wheat Breeding.
