On January 11, Clarivate Analytics released the latest edition of its Basic Science Indicators Database (ESI) Statistics for 2024. The data shows that the Agricultural Science of Shandong Agricultural University ranks among the top 1 ‰ of ESI in the world. It is the second discipline of Shandong Agricultural University ranking top 1 ‰ of ESI. The first one is Plant and Animal Science. Up to now, in addition to the above two disciplines, the university also has another four disciplines ranking among top 1% of ESI, namely, chemistry, environmental Science and ecology, biology and biochemistry, and engineering.
