SDAU has entered the top 1% of ESI in Engineering, according to the most recent ESI data released by Corevantage on March 10, 2023. Six disciplines of SDAU have been ranked in the top 1% of the ESI global ranking.

Plant and Animal Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Chemistry,Environmental and Ecology, Biology and Biochemistry, and Engineering have all been ranked in the top 1% of ESI. The Discipline of Plant and Animal Science of SDAU has been ranked among the top 1‰ of the world.
