Recently, the university held a seminar and exchange with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Shanghai to promote practical cooperation. Xiangdong Li, Vice President of SDAU, Weixi Gong, Director General of the Partnership Department of Global Investment and Technology Promotion Office and Institutions of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and Li Gang, Chairman of the China General Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia attended the activity.

During the discussion, Xiangdong Li introduced the achievements of the school in the past year from the aspects of discipline construction, personnel training, scientific research and innovation, and international exchanges. In addition, some specific suggestions are put forward for outstanding undergraduates and postgraduates to conduct internship or research projects in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization or its domestic institutions, outstanding young teachers to study and exchange in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, agricultural technology training for developing countries, and future cooperation in the field of smart agriculture and digital agriculture. Weixi Gong congratulated the school on its 100-year history, especially its outstanding achievements in recent years. He said the United Nations Industrial Development Organization would make every effort to promote practical cooperation between the two sides, build platforms, and create opportunities. At the same time, he put forward his opinions on the concrete ways and contents of cooperation, and put forward suggestions on the development of some disciplines.

It is understood that the symposium is to further implement the issues discussed by the two sides in the video conference last year, aiming to strengthen exchanges and close communication, implement all the work and produce fruitful results at an early date.
