Recently, the list of construction units of high-level universities and construction projects of high-level disciplines in Shandong Province was announced. 

SDAU was one of seven provincial high-level universities “striving for first-class”. Crop science was selected as a peak discipline construction discipline of provincial high-level disciplines. Horticulture, biology, plant protection, and agricultural resources and environment were selected as advantageous characteristic discipline construction disciplines of provincial high-level disciplines.
