In the summer of 2025, SDAU organized students majoring in Sino-British Food Science and Engineering and Sino-British Land Resource Management to conduct academic and cultural exchanges at the University of Chester and the Royal Agricultural University in the UK, and also had in-depth discussions on issues such as jointly applying for new cooperative education programs.

The British universities warmly welcomed the study tour group, held welcome ceremonies, and arranged academic courses, special lectures, and a variety of practical activities. At the University of Chester, the study tour group participated in multiple academic activities, attended professional courses, conducted experiments, and also inspected the food center and vertical farm, gaining an understanding of British food processing technology and more. At the Royal Agricultural University, the study tour group had in-depth discussions with experts from multiple fields, exploring the prospects of digital agriculture, understanding the connection between the real estate industry and agricultural development, and so on. They also inspected the farm's cultivation systems for over 40 types of tomatoes, barley, and wheat, and visited practical teaching bases such as the agricultural technology innovation center, equestrian center, and horticulture center.

During the study tour, the students expressed their gratitude to the British instructors and experts who gave lectures and explanations, and presented them with traditional handicrafts such as Chinese knots and calligraphy works. The British universities spoke highly of this exchange, affirmed the students' performance, and issued completion certificates to each student.
